This project is a concept cover idea for a Brazilian edition of the book "The Secret Lake", written by Karen Inglis.
First I started by studying the pre-existed character design, in order to draw
Tom, Stella and Harry using my own style.

After, I tested some sketches on a paper. This is the most important moment for me because it's time to try lots of crazy ideas. In the end, I picked the number 3 and developed the idea on top of it.
And this is what I had when I finished the lineart! The dog's face was my favorite, definitely.
